Terms of Use
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Lunana Global Inc., doing business as Audio Simple ("we", "us"). They cover the Audio Simple iPhone app (the "app") and this website. Your license to the app is set out in the End User License Agreement, and how we handle information is set out in the Privacy Policy. By using the app or the website, you accept these terms.
1. What Audio Simple is
Audio Simple uses your iPhone's microphone to pick up the sound around you, makes voices clearer and plays the result into wired earbuds in real time. All processing happens on your iPhone.
2. Listen safely
Audio Simple makes sound louder. Loud sound, especially over long periods, can permanently damage your hearing.
- Start at a low volume and raise it slowly until voices are comfortable. Never use a volume that feels uncomfortable.
- Background noise and long listening can make sound seem quieter than it really is, which tempts you to turn it up. Take breaks and keep the volume moderate.
- Sudden loud sounds near the microphone, such as a dropped plate, can be loud in your earbuds. Consider turning on Settings › Sounds & Haptics › Headphone Safety › Reduce Loud Audio on your iPhone.
- If you hear whistling, lower the volume or move the phone further from your earbuds.
- Stop using the app and seek medical advice if you notice pain, ringing, muffled sound or any change in your hearing.
- Audio Simple quiets background sound, which can include warning sounds. Do not use it while driving, cycling, operating machinery or anywhere you must hear your surroundings, and do not rely on it to hear alarms, sirens, traffic or announcements.
- Children should use the app only with an adult's supervision.
3. Use it lawfully and respectfully
Use Audio Simple only to hear conversations and sounds you are entitled to hear. Do not use it to listen in on private conversations without the consent of the people involved, or in any way that breaks eavesdropping, wiretapping, recording or privacy laws. If you use the app's optional diagnostic recording, make sure everyone recorded has agreed where the law requires it. You are responsible for how you use the app.
4. Who can use Audio Simple
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for you. You need an iPhone with iOS 17 or later and compatible wired earbuds.
5. Subscriptions and free trial
Audio Simple offers two auto-renewing subscriptions: monthly at $19.99 per month and yearly at $99.99 per year (U.S. prices; the App Store shows the price in your country, which may include tax). Both unlock all features of the app for the length of the subscription.
New subscribers can start with a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription you chose starts and your Apple ID is charged.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Purchases are processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue them. If we change a price, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
6. Changes to the app
We work to keep Audio Simple useful and may add, change or remove features, release updates, or stop offering the app. If we stop offering it, subscriptions will be handled under Apple's rules, including any refund Apple provides.
7. Our content
The app, this website, our name and logo, and their content belong to Lunana Global Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them except as these terms or the law allow.
8. How well it works
How much Audio Simple helps depends on the room, the distance to the speaker, the background sound, your earbuds, your iPhone and your own ears. Results vary from person to person and place to place, and we do not promise that the app will make every voice clear or work in every situation.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any medical or safety purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lunana Global Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or the website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Audio Simple in the 12 months before the claim and 50 U.S. dollars. Some places do not allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that applies.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Lunana Global Inc. for claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the app, to the extent the law allows.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, tell you in the app or on this website. Continuing to use Audio Simple after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally. If we cannot, disputes will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection and any right to bring proceedings in your home courts that the law of your country gives you.
